Occupational Licensing in Brazil: A new dataset 

This data introduces a new dataset of occupational licensing in Brazil by surveying all 84 regulated and licensed occupations and matching them to specific occupational codes in the Brazilian Census and other labor market surveys, as well as identifying the regulation/oversight agency. 

This novel dataset will allow researchers to test several hypotheses of the effects of these regulations on wages, wage premiums, labor market participation, and economic gender disparities differentials among licensed and unlicensed occupations.
